    Perfect printed this perfect-bound awards catalog for AIGA Philadelphia’s biennial Philadelphia Design Awards gala. The 142-page color catalog features the work of all of the Philadelphia-area designers who were recognized in the 2016 competition. Perfect printed 250 catalogs with our HP Indigo 7800 press using Sappi’s Opus gloss cover and text stock. The cover received a UV soft-touch coating and was hinge scored with the perfect binding.

    Perfect designed and printed pocket-sized notebooks that were sent to customers during 2016 to thank them for their business. The custom-designed notebooks demonstrated some of our print and finishing capabilities, such as the die-cutting and embossing employed in this spring-time series. Other notebooks designed during the year used specialty coatings and colored papers. The first six notebooks were sent in two sets that included a custom delivery box, insert card and belly band.

    Living Beyond Breast Cancer

    One of Perfect’s newest customers, Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) is a non-profit organization based in Bala Cynwyd, Pa., that provides programs and services to help people whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. LBBC produces various print materials to promote its events, provide information to patients and caregivers, and educate the breast cancer community. Its goal is to connect people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support. Perfect has produced a number of projects for LBBC, including direct mail, fundraising materials, annual reports, invitations and educational pamphlets. The projects featured here include LBBC’s annual conference brochure, an issue of its Insight newsletter and a postcard inviting attendees to an educational event that was part of LBBC’s Breast Cancer 360 initiative.

    Perfect printed this 16-page, 7.25-inch square booklet that served as the program for the Center City District’s recent anniversary celebration. The booklet was printed 5-color (four color + a PMS) on dull text and cover stock, and it received an aqueous satin coating. The back cover included a 4.5-inch pasted pocket designed to hold a donation envelope the Center City District distributed in the booklet at the event.

    Part of Perfect’s experience in financial printing has come from helping long-time customer Marlin Finance produce materials to promote its equipment leasing and finance programs to small businesses, manufacturers, dealers and vendors across industries such as healthcare, IT, food service and security & surveillance.

    We print postcards, brochures and booklets to support Marlin’s marketing campaigns. We also handle Marlin’s frequent direct-mail letter campaigns utilizing our variable printing capabilities. We print, fulfill and mail thousands of letters, envelopes and inserts each month as part of Marlin’s ongoing communication with its customers and prospects.

    Perfect-bound color catalog for seller of vintage first editions of literature and art.

    Royal Books specializes in first editions of literature and the arts. They have a wide selection of titles in the areas of modern literature, crime fiction, science fiction, books on film, photography, art and music. They also have a selection of original vintage film posters, as well as other film-related material. Perfect works with Royal to produce quarterly catalogs, a perfect bound book that includes images where color consistency and quality of reproduction is critical. Perfect also handles the mailing and fulfillment of the catalogs. While on-line versions of the catalogs are also available, Royal Books understands the value of having a tangible, physical piece to showcase its products.

    The Artisans Kitchen book series is produced by Spark Creative Group for Artisans & Co.–a high-market, design-build firm located in Wilmington Delaware. The kitchen designs are lead by celebrity chefs to complete dream kitchens for their clients. Using Perfect’s extensive digital printing capabilities, SCG could print high-quality, low-quantity books.

    The on-demand process also allowed them to evolve the content of the books themselves and continue to add chefs to the full library–efficiently and economically.

    Rowan University

    Embossed and foil-stamped custom art catalog.

    Perfect produced an art catalog for Rowan University that involved many value-added services. The final product included foil stamping, embossing, perfect binding, creation and printing of a DVD, plastic sleeve, as well as the fulfillment of the piece.

    With Perfect providing all of these services, the client was able to hand off the job to a single source. This allowed the project to be completed not only within budget but within an extremely quick turnaround time.

    Speciality costings and metallic ink enhance the
    “State of Center City” report.

    The Center City District (CCD) and Central Philadelphia Development Corporation (CPDC) share a common mission: to enhance the vitality of Center City Philadelphia as a thriving 24-hour downtown and a great place to live, work or have fun. The 2012 State of Center City Report is designed to measure the progress of Philadelphia’s downtown,to document continuing challenges, and to be of use to those who seek to develop, locate, lease, invest or meet in Center City.
    Perfect has printed this report for the past six years because Center City District knows they can trust us to ensure color consistency and quality. In addition to 4 color offset printing, a metallic ink was added to enhance the cover. Gloss, satin and matte coatings were also used throughout for effect. The 74 page plus cover wir-o-boundbook printed on FSC certified stock that included recycled content.
