Perfect helped FS Investments craft custom materials for an important marketing campaign.

FS Investments, a Philadelphia-based manager of alternative investment funds, provides its investors with access to alternative asset classes, strategies and asset managers that are historically only available to the world’s largest investors. The investment firm’s offerings are unique and appeal to an exclusive part of the investor market. The company places a high priority on delivering unique, impactful marketing materials to attract the valuable investors it targets.

A marketing campaign FS Investments conducted to distribute information about its Energy and Power Fund (FSEP) needed a custom box to hold the materials. Perfect worked with FS Investments to develop prototypes for an outer box that created an immediate and lasting impact reflective of the FS Investments brand. We then printed the boxes, brochures, cards and capacity folder, assembled all of the materials and coordinated the initial launch mailing.

Perfect designed and printed a postcard and poster for the South Asia Studies department at the University of Pennsylvania to promote their language programs. The pieces are intended to attract the attention of UPenn students who may be interested in taking a South Asian language course through the department. The South Asia Studies department offers nearly all of India’s official languages as well as the languages of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

Perfect spoke with representatives of the department to understand the project goals, we developed the design concept, designed the postcard and poster, and printed the materials. The pieces were printed on specialty metallic paper to create the sense of excitement and value the department was trying to achieve. According to the South Asia Studies department, the pieces have been a huge hit and gained a lot of interest.

    The Franklin Institute

This beautiful trifold brochure was used by The Franklin Institute to invite guests to the East Coast premiere gala celebrating the opening of “Vatican Splendors,” a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Vatican’s paintings, sculptures and artifacts. The exhibition held at The Franklin Institute contains works of some of history’s most celebrated artists, including Michelangelo, Bernini and Guercino.

The invitation for this gala needed to match the beauty and significance of the works being exhibited. To create a special sense of inspiration, the brochure was printed on a metallic paper with an aqueous satin coating. Gold foil stamping provides an extra touch on the cover to help the design impress.

Perfect provides value to US Vision with quick turnaround and brand consistency while printing on multiple formats. We print promotional product sheets, flyers, coupons and large format posters for distribution to the various retailers that they sell through. These pieces are printed on stock that ranges in thickness from 80# gloss text to 18 pt. board and from quantities that range from 25 to 1,000,000. We use both digital and conventional printing process, which allows U.S. Vision to minimize their costs but maintain brand consistency with different printing processes. Most of the pieces are time sensitive and require very quick turnarounds so that they can get into the retailers hands during the promotion period. We recently brought their monthly mailings in-house after their previous vendor was having trouble consistently meeting their deadline requests.

High-end custom designed brochure targeting international students.

Intriguing images and the use of color are an important piece of any creative. Rutgers-Camden recently produced a brochure targeted to its international student body. The design and content needed to provide an overview of the State University of New Jersey as well as highlight all that Rutgers had to offer International students.

Designed by Rutgers Professor Allan Espiritu, also the designer at GDLOFT, the brochure combined design and print techniques such as solid blocks of color printed with a transparency effect to view the image underneath. Since economics is always an issue, a translucent fly sheet was produced with pertinent statistics that are subject to change. The fly leaf not only added visually to the piece, but can be replaced as necessary without reprinting the brochure in its entirety.
